The fruit for this elegant Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon blend was sourced from highly acclaimed Bendigo vineyards near the Sandhurst Ridge estate. The winemaking was identical to that of our estate wines, with fermentation in small open vats followed by basket-pressing and maturation in predominantly French oak barriques for 18 months. The blend components are 65% Shiraz, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot.

 This wine drinks well now, but cellaring it for a further five years or more will further develop its distinctive regional characteristics and robustness.
