Sandhurst Ridge Winery and Vineyard produces intensely-flavoured, handcrafted wines full of character.

With the benefit of an Italian winemaking heritage and Australia's marvelous Central Victorian climate, we believe we have the perfect conditions for creating great Australian wines with a European soul. 

Our first vintage, the 1995 Sandhurst Ridge Shiraz – was awarded five stars by Winestate magazine, and our wines have been piling up accolades ever since. Year after year, James Halliday has awarded five stars to our wines.

Visit our cellar door (just 15 minutes from the centre of Bendigo) and you'll find that one of the family -- Paul, Karen, George or Connie Greblo -- will be pleased to take you through our range of wines and explain how they were made and the conditions that affected particular vintages. We reside on the estate, and vines and wine are our passion.

We offer vertical tastings of our Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon so that you can discover the interplay of climate, soil, seasonal conditions and age of the vines. Was 2005 a better vintage than 2006? Taste and decide for yourself!

The Bendigo region, with its dry, warm summers and relatively frost-free winters is quickly regaining the reputation it had in the 19^th century for producing superb red wines. Visit Sandhurst Ridge and discover one of the gems of the region.

The latest news -- a special event!  Come to Bendigo on Saturday, 6th September 2008 and join us for a special day of fine wine tasting, superb food and eclectic music. Sandhurst Ridge, and two of its neighbours only ten minutes away -- Balgownie Estate and Connor Park Winery -- have teamed up to host the inaugural Tri Bendigo Wine Wander. A visit to our three wineries is always worth the trip, but on the 6th September, with the food and music we have planned for you, we are set to banish the winter blues and welcome a spirited spring!
